Nuegua Chapter: First Sister

This chapter recounts Rintiala's testing as First Sister, and the complications that ensue what should have been a happy and breezy day, given her abilities.

Here is an animatic of the Guardians of the Grotto of the Pregnant Virgin, the first level (Alpha sleep state, or hypnagogic reverie) that a Sister encounters. 

The first test is strictly to see if the Sister is prepared for the complexities of the Grotto. It entails word-problems, riddles if you like, one spoken into each ear simultaneously.  This kind of analysis is beyond we present-day humans; I like the idea of plunging the reader into Nueguan sensibilities.  If a Sister is aging, or emotionally unstable, this is a far as she will go. She will awaken in the Cactus Mother.
